Jason Daniel Lucas

Jason Daniel Lucas

Jason was born December 30, 1977, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1996 and attended Oklahoma State University. After two years’ employment with Metropolitan Life in Tulsa, Jason transferred to Dallas where he worked for MetLife for another five years.

Finally, Jason found his true calling, managing and selling real estate. Jason began his employment at Local Dwelling working for his mentor and good friend Worth Ross. Jason loved putting people together with houses and dwellings that they loved. With Jason it wasn’t about the money, it was about making people happy. Jason loved discussing his job and the people he was helping; this wasn’t work with Jason, but his true love.

Jason’s other true love was his family. Jason came back to visit the Sapulpa area regularly to see his family and friends. In his spare time (he was on call 24/7 for years) Jason enjoyed entertaining, traveling, watching movies, and of course spending time with those he loved.

Jason was a thoughtful, caring person with a compassionate heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. He truly was interested in people and how to help them. Jason had a servant’s heart.

Jason is survived by parents Sherry and Steven Lucas; sister Jana White (husband Jared and children Claire and Luke); brother Andrew Lucas (wife Stormie); grandmothers Rachel Palmer and Margaret Lucas; aunts Leta Story (husband Jim), Carolyn Abel (husband David), Pam Manuel (husband Ken), Libby Royal (husband Jon Don) and Kathy Hellard (husband Jeff); uncles Stephen Orton (wife Reba) and Kent Lucas (wife Sue); his Texas Family, sister Tanya Rodriguez (husband Paul); brothers Worth Ross, Jason Mitchell, and Ben Ashmore and biological father Ron Jones.
